The JobFit program is designed to assist unemployed jobseekers find rewarding career opportunities within growing companies in a variety of industries throughout the Lower Mainland.
The JobFit wage subsidy funding allows a new employee’s skills to be upgraded on the job to meet the company's current competency standards. The skills upgrading is monitored through an individualized, company-specific Work Experience Plan which covers a percentage of the employee’s wages up to a maximum of the first 24 weeks on the job.
